Inside Arbitrage was an internal project we developed to track insider transactions by company insiders that are reported to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

We used a data feed provided by the SEC to electronically capture insider purchases and sales and built several tools to help us analyze this data. We set up a subscription service that provided weekly updates to investors along with real-time alerts when specific insider purchases matched a set of criteria defined by the investor.

Over a period of time, the website expanded to provide investment tools and research for event driven investors that focused on strategies like merger arbitrage and spinoffs.
